Our construction crews worked hard on this first project on Martha's Vineyard building a stone revetment in Tisbury. This was a great new challenge for Beacon Marine and as always, the crew delivered another top-quality project. A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into these island projects. All of the materials and equipment had to be shipped from New Bedford to the Vineyard by tug and barge and the crew traveled to and from the island every day by ferry, planning their work schedules around the tides and weather.
